Oswalt Expands: New Position, Familiar Face

Oswalt Restaurant Supply is excited to announce they are restructuring their Project Team and creating a new position of Senior Estimator. However, they didn’t go far to fill the position; Samantha Thompson, is a familiar face within the walls of Oswalt and has been promoted from her current position as a project manager.

Samantha celebrates 9 years with Oswalt this month. She began her career with Oswalt as an inside sales rep where she transitioned, as she puts it, “from selling food to selling the equipment that makes it”. She has fond memories of helping one of her favorite customers see his dream BBQ trailer come to fruition. Shortly after her first year, Samantha was promoted to project management where she continued to develop her professional skills, grow thick skin and learn to negotiate with the best of them. In the last 8 years, she has successfully managed numerous projects totaling over $25M in revenue.

Samantha is looking forward to the challenge of working alongside the Oswalt Executives to create and fine tune her new role as the Senior Estimator. Samantha’s years of experience in bidding coupled with her organizational skills, attention to detail and her passion for personal growth and leadership make her a great fit for this role.
